ATLANTA (September 26, 2007) – Marble Slab Creamery, innovator of the frozen slab concept, today announced the introduction of its Marble Slab Creamery Comes Home campaign. This initiative marks the first time the company has offered customers pre-packaged pints and quarts of its quality, super-premium, homemade ice cream to purchase and take home.
“With the holidays approaching, Marble Slab invites customers to enjoy our extensive line of homemade, premium ice cream now pre-packaged in pints and quarts,” commented Jenn Johnston, Vice President QSR Brand Marketing for NexCen Franchise Management, parent company of Marble Slab Creamery. “Even as the temperature drops, our customers continue to purchase our decadent creations, but prefer to enjoy ice cream in the luxury of their own home. We want to make it as easy as possible for consumers to enjoy their favorite everyday indulgence, and are pleased to offer them this new convenience.”
Beginning this month, customers may purchase pre-packaged pints and quarts of ice cream flavors made daily in creameries nationwide, including two of Marble Slab’s newest flavors – Black Cherry, which recently launched in August, and White Chocolate, scheduled to launch in October. To satisfy even the most sophisticated palates, Marble Slab Creamery’s Tasty Creations, a hand-mixed blend of ice cream and candy, fruit and nut “mixins,” are also available in pre-packaged pints and quarts. Tasty Creations offered through Marble Slab Creamery Comes Home include Candylicious, a sweet blend of vanilla ice cream mixed with chunks of Heath Bar, M&M’s and Nestle Crunch; and Caramel Nut Latte, homemade coffee ice cream packed with almonds, pecans and caramel.
