NEW YORK, February 20, 2008 - NexCen Brands, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEXC) ("NexCen") announced today that its President and CEO, Robert W. D'Loren, has been appointed to the board of directors for the Achilles Track Club (ATC), which seeks to enable people with all types of disabilities to participate in mainstream athletics, to promote personal achievement, enhanced self esteem, and the lowering of barriers between people. The ATC is an international, nonprofit organization that provides support, training, and technical expertise to runners at all levels.
NexCen Brands, Inc. has also committed to donating $250,000 over the
next five years to the ATC as one of its established charity partners.

athletic footwear retail franchising, in addition to leading consumer and

The ATC (http://www.achillestrackclub.org) was established by Dr. Dick Traum,
Ph.D. in 1983 to encourage disabled people to participate in long-distance
running with the general public. Dick is its current president, an above
the knee amputee marathoner.
