NEW YORK, March 4, 2008 - NexCen Brands Inc. announces the addition o f Liz Mandracchia and Robin Geisler to its NexCen Home Studio located at 261 Fifth Ave. Liz Mandracchia joins as VP Marketing and PR and Robin Geisler as Licensing Director. Both executives will work directly for Rick Platt, President o f NexCen Home Studio and will manage the Waverly, Gramercy, and Bill Blass Home businesses.
Liz has a twenty plus year history in Marketing and Advertising most of which has been in the home textiles and retail industries. Liz was responsible for Marketing communications programs for Procter & Gamble Tide, as well as, retail giants Barnes & Noble and Bed Bath & Beyond. Liz was VP Marketing for slipcover manufacturer, Sure Fit from 1999-2005 directing their retail and direct businesses. Most recently, Liz consulted for Official Pillowtex on their Fieldcrest, Cannon, Royal Velvet, and Charisma marketing programs. Liz states “I am impressed by the strength of the NexCen Home Studio concept and the plans to expand the Waverly brand to a total lifestyle offering. I am thrilled to join at such an exciting time for the Waverly brand and for NexCen Home Studio.”
Robin Geisler joins NexCen from a long standing career at Everlast Worldwide where she was recently their Global Licensing General Manager responsible for North America, Asia, and Australia. Robin negotiated a few notable deals including footwear in the U.S, a master license agreement in China, apparel and boxing equipment in the Philippines, bags in the U.S., and Halloween Costumes in the US. Robin was promoted from Global Licensing Manager to Global Licensing Marketing Director at Everlast and supported more than 60 Everlast licensees in 101 countries with global brand management, advertising, marketing, and public relation initiatives. “NexCen Home Studios and the Waverly brand will enable me to put my Everlast Worldwide experience to immediate use in working to expand Waverly to a complete lifestyle resource both domestically and internationally. I am so optimistic about the future of this brand and happy to be on board.”
